Hucency places the protection of personal data at the heart of its products and the services it offers you. Hucency is committed to complying with the amended French Data Protection Act of January 6, 1978, as well as Regulation (EU) 2016/679, known as the “GDPR.”

This policy sets out the main guidelines for the protection of your personal data and is intended to inform you about:

  • The personal data that Hucency processes and the reasons for such processing,
  • The way in which this personal data is used,
  • Your rights regarding your personal data.

  • Business relationships between Hucency and its customers,

IV. Glossary

The terms used in this document have the following meanings:

“Personal Data” or “Data”: means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, an online identifier, or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural, or social identity of that natural person.

The information we collect from you is necessary for us to provide the products and services we offer. If you do not wish to provide the necessary information, Hucency will not be able to process your request.

VIII. Who receives your personal data?

For the purposes described above, your data may be shared with:

  • To the relevant internal departments at Hucency: the departments responsible for delivering the contracted services, including support and maintenance, customer relations, accounting, and production at the relevant group companies,
  • To third-party service providers working with Hucency: technical service providers, including subcontractors who provide services, support, and advice to Hucency,
  • To external entities: public agencies in accordance with legal obligations. Hucency may be required to disclose your data, upon request, to any person or authority to whom the law, regulations, or courts grant the right to obtain such data.

Hucency promises not to sell or rent your personal data to third parties without your prior consent.

These retention periods are extended by the retention periods required by applicable warranty provisions, statutes of limitations, or legal and regulatory obligations incumbent upon Hucency or its partners.

X. Where is your personal data?

All processing of your personal data takes place within France.
Specifically regarding cookies, Hucency uses Google Analytics version 4.
Hucency has formalized its relationship with Google through a contract.
The use of this service provider is in accordance with the agreement dated July 10, 2023, signed between the European Union and the United States.

XI. How is your personal data secured?

Hucency is committed to implementing the necessary technical and organizational measures to ensure the security of personal data against theft, loss, unauthorized disclosure, or alteration, depending on the sensitivity of the data.
Hucency is committed to prioritizing the protection of your personal data and privacy from the very beginning of the design process for new products or services offered to you.

XII. Exercising Your Rights Regarding Your Personal Data

You may at any time request to exercise your rights of access, rectification, objection, erasure, restriction, and data portability with Hucency, as provided for in applicable regulations, provided that you meet the relevant conditions.
