Cyberattack on Sarrebourg town hall
During the night of June 5 to 6, the town of Sarrebourg (Moselle) was the victim of a ransomware cyberattack. The cybercriminals encrypted their computer data. In accordance with ANSSI recommendations, the municipality immediately filed a complaint. It also refused to pay the ransom of 7.6 bitcoins (nearly €55,000) demanded by the attackers.
